Thank you for visiting St James's Online. Following government advice, some shops and businesses in our Central London neighbourhood are now open, a list of which can be found at the end of this article.

The safety of all those that visit, live and work in our community remains of utmost importance and we continue to monitor the situation and the Government’s public health guidance closely. We appreciate this is a difficult time and want to assure you we have introduced measures to make this transition as safe and smooth as possible.

As lockdown eases, we continue to monitor the situation to ensure we are supporting our neighbourhood. We appreciate this is a difficult time and want to assure you we have introduced measures to make this transition as safe and smooth as possible.

Further details on these measures can be found here and include:

- Increased cleaning across our destination to keep the streets as sanitary as possible

- Numerous hand sanitisation and hand washing stations will be located on the streets

- We are working with Westminster City Council to widen pavements to reduce traffic and facilitate social distancing where possible along the length of Regent Street - from Oxford Circus to Piccadilly Circus, and along Piccadilly south side – from Regent Street to St James’s Street

- Supporting the implementation of queuing system to access stores

- Installation of additional bike storage

We urge you to follow government guidelines to enjoy visiting St James’s safely and encourage you to be considerate of others.
