Sample Fortnum’s own gin

Meet Amalthea, Fortnum’s very own hybrid copper still, who has taken up residency at the new Third Floor. As we all know, it’s always gin o’clock, so whatever the time head to this dedicated distillery space to learn about the gin-making process – from the use of botanicals to distillation. You’ll be sure to want to take a bottle or two of its London Dry Gin or Pink Gin home with you.

Unwind with cocktails at 3’6

Make sure to seek out the seductively decorated 3’6 cocktail bar that’s tucked away within the Third Floor. Compete with dark blue walls, cosy soft furnishings that are begging to be sat on, and an extraordinarily designed bar, this speakeasy-style spot is named after the three shillings and sixpence charged to customers for organising cocktail parties in the 1930s. When it comes to the menu, think modern takes on traditional small plates, classic cocktails and wide selections of spirits and wines.

Hunt for a Fortnum & Mason hamper

Wanting to get your hands on one of Fortnum & Mason’s famous hampers? They’ve now made their home on the Third Floor. Take your pick from the numerous ready-made options or customise yours to suit the tastes of your friends and family – the Red Coats are on hand to help you decide. Look out for seasonal specials, from Christmas to Mother’s Day, which are overflowing with tasty delights.
