The first week in October 2018 means ‘London Cocktail Week’, the most vibrant celebration of London’s fantastic cocktail scene.

Every year, the liquor experts at ‘DrinkUp.London’ curate a list of venues from around the capital to bring us what they believe are the very best drinks London offers. The list includes three of St James’s one of a kind venues: Ginza Onodera, The Trafalgar Dining Rooms and the St James Bar at the Sofitel Hotel.

Ginza Onodera

15 Bury St, SW1Y 6AL
Bury Street’s authentic Japanese restaurant will be home to two amazing LCW cocktails every evening during the week.

The ‘Panacea #2’ is a tasty mix of London Gin, Sake, Creme de Mure, Lemon Juice and a spray of Apricot Palin with dried lemon, Japanese chilli flakes and a Hojiso flower.

For the mocktail lovers, the venue also has the ‘Funky Breeze’; an elegant concoction of Blood Orange puree, pineapple juice, lemon juice and Monin Hibiscus syrup.

St James Bar at the Sofitel Hotel

6 Waterloo Pl, SW1Y 4AN
Last, but certainly not least, we have the St James Bar at the Sofitel Hotel serving ‘Sweet Emotions’. The cocktail is available all day all week, within the Coco Chanel inspired interiors behind the hotel’s stunning neoclassical façade.

The drink is a fruity blend of gin, apple liqueur, blueberries, lavender syrup, gomme and lemon juice, topped with Soda water. A true burst of flavour to brighten up your week.

The Trafalgar Dining Rooms

2 Spring Gardens, SW1A 2BB
Drink in the beautiful view of Trafalgar Square from the ‘Dining Rooms’ at the Trafalgar St James Hotel. The iconic venue will also be opening its doors to London Cocktail Week goers every evening during the week.

The first cocktail on offer here is the ‘Pinstripe Martini’. This drink is an elegant infusion of London Dry Gin, Cocchi Americano, Homemade summer syrup, orange bitters and mint.

The ‘Raspberry Clover’ is all the fun with none of the alcohol. With Seedlip Garden 108, lemon juice, raspberries, egg whites and sugar syrup, one doesn’t need much more to liven up an evening.
