You no longer need to worry about leaving the most important member of the family at home, as London is filled with dog-friendly destinations. With so many of us adding a four-legged friend to the fold (lockdown puppy, anyone?) the city has adapted with many establishments ready to welcome your dog in too.

DUKES Hotel & Bar

After a hard day of soaking up the culture, settle down to a cocktail (and bowl of water) in DUKES Bar’s relaxing ambience and people and pooch watch all night long.

Gaucho Piccadilly

Steak night no longer needs to be just for you – why not invite your best canine friend too? Gaucho welcomes dogs all day, every day, but we recommend their weekend Electro Brunch or Sunday Roast for an extra-special occasion.

Sofitel London St James

For a sleepover to remember, why not bring your lovely little pet to the Sofitel London St James. Small dogs under 10kgs are lucky enough to stay free of charge, with a £50 fee for bigger pups.

Liberty London

Who better to ask for style advice than your furry friend? Liberty's well-loved department store is happy for well-behaved pooches to join you as you browse their wares.

The Trafalgar St James

Another hotel for the list, why not book you and your pooch a real treat and have a staycation together in the heart of London this summer? Book here.

Hotel Café Royal

Your pooches will be treated to five-star service when staying over at Hotel Café Royal. Expect beds and accessories from luxury pet outfitter Mungo & Maud. Plus there’s optional dog walking services from Tailster too if your pup is in need for a little exercise.

Café Murano St James

Café Murano's Angela Hartnett is a real dog lover and welcomes well-behaved doggies into their restaurant. The terrace is a great spot for al fresco dining for you and your fluffy friend.

Heddon Street Kitchen

A popular dining spot on Heddon Street, Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen terrace is our go-to spot for dining with dogs. They do also accept small dogs in the main restaurant.

The Beau Brummell

A good pub in central London is hard to find, which is what makes The Beau Brummell in St James's Market so special. Their heated outdoor terrace is 'pawsome' as is the rest of their dog-friendly venue.

Treehouse Hotel London

Watch this space – as Treehouse Hotel is soon to launch a dog-friendly overnight package. Meanwhile, The Nest and Courtyard dining spaces are also welcoming to dogs. Find out more here.

'O ver

This Italian restaurant will happily extend their hospitality to your “cane”. Book a table at 'O ver and forgo the pup-sitter for this occasion.

Heddon Yokocho

Guide dogs are welcome in all areas of Heddon Yokocho and otherwise, all types of dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating space too.

In the heart of St James’s, give yourself a little bit of rest and relaxation whilst in central London and settle down for a Scandinavian supper at dog-friendly Aquavit.

Brasserie Zedel

The ground floor Café at Brasserie Zedel is happy to host you and your dog, however please note they are not allowed in the downstairs Brasserie, Bar or Crazy Coqs.
