Conjuring up thoughts of fairgrounds and Bonfire Night, Fortnum & Mason’s new Toffee Apple Tea combines dark caramel and apple flavours for a cosy cuppa when you want a night in, feet up, in front of the fire.

Caffè Concerto: Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate

Snuggle up with one of Ole & Steen’s seasonal drinks for that extra special touch of hygge. Its Pumpkin Spice Latte mixes espresso with pumpkin spice syrup and is topped with cream and a gentle dusting of comforting cinnamon. You can always rely on Pret’s popular PSL for some pre-work impetus. But for something a little more indulgent, its Chocolate Chai mixes the velvetiness of a hot chocolate with fragrant Chai spices – think cinnamon, ginger, black pepper and vanilla… A drink that’s sure to keep you cosy all season long. Caffè Nero: Amaretto Latte

It may be an acquired taste, but Amaretto is a distinct taste of the cooler seasons. Caffè Nero has harnessed its almondy notes in a new range, from lattes to hot chocolates, which come topped with whipped cream and mini almond biscotti. Pop into its Haymarket café and grab one to take away for a bracing stroll in St James’s Park.
