The Royal Academy of Arts
Take a virtual view of The RA’s Picasso on Paper exhibition, comprising of over 300 of the esteemed artist’s works. He used paper to explore his creativity throughout his 80-year career, whether sketching on it, creating sculptures or even burning it. Phillip Mould Gallery
Philip Mould is hosting a daily series ‘Art in Isolation’ in which you are invited into his country home, Duck End, to experience his private collection. From a 1920s pencil still life, to a newly discovered piece by William Dobson, to a work by the controversial typeface pioneer Eric Gill, the series will be hosted on IGTV at 4pm each day. Sims Reed Gallery
The Sims Reed Gallery is celebrating American artist Dale Chihuly, internationally renowned for his glass works. The gallery is hosting a number of Fine Art prints and original works on paper which form a crucial part of his creative process, most notably since the loss of eyesight in his left eye in 1976. As Chihuly has said, ‘sometimes the drawings would be about the glass; sometimes they’d just be drawings, a way to release the energy, or a way for my mind and body to be creative while the glassblowing was going on.’ View his work here.
Cristea Roberts Gallery
The Cristea Roberts Gallery continues to be a leading light in Contemporary Art, even whilst its doors are temporarily closed. Visit the gallery’s online exhibition, Jim Dine: Painting with the Carver, featuring previously unseen hand painted prints and an interview on IGTV. Explore an online viewing room of the latest pieces from conceptual artist Michael Craig-Martin, complete with a colour-your-own thank you poster to download by Craig-Martin, designed as a gesture of gratitude to NHS front line workers.
David Gill Gallery
Usher in the warmer weather with the David Gill Gallery, whose digital group Spring Exhibition comprises a stunning array of works from highly acclaimed artists. Stern Pissarro Gallery
The Stern Pissarro Gallery has a wealth of videos online for you to experience while you’re unable to visit them in person at St James’s Place. White Cube Gallery
The White Cube will be hosting videos themed ‘IN THE STUDIO’, ‘IN PROGRESS’ and ‘IN FOCUS’ to spotlight artists and artworks on their Instagram channel, offering insight into the process behind the finished pieces.
