Wine merchant’s Davy’s welcome expert winemaker Daniele Pelassa for an evening tasting wonderful Barolos and other wines from his family’s 12-hectare vineyard in Montà d’Alba, Piedmont; a winery established by his father in post-war Italy.

After a reception glass of the delicious, crisp Mario’s Bianco, Daniele will talk guests through the history of the winery and winemaking in Piedmont. Guests will then taste some of the estate’s finest wines, including a new single vineyard Barolo, which Davy’s will bring to the UK for the first time. The tasting will be followed by a specially prepared 4-course menu, with a wine paired with each course. Daniele will also be on hand to answer any questions.

The event will take place on Thursday 1st November 2018.
The tasting and talk will run between 6.30 and 7.30pm followed by supper.
