We’re excited to let you know that The Royal Automobile Club is running the St James's Motoring Spectacle 2024, a brand-new, free-to-attend event taking place on Pall Mall on Saturday, 2 November.

As part of London Motor Week and held on the eve of the RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, this fabulous spectacle will celebrate the past, present, and future of motoring.

What to expect

Zone 1: St James’s Concours

Showcasing 70 pre-1905 veteran cars, all set to take part in the following day’s Veteran Car Run.

Zone 2: RM Sotheby’s Auction Preview

A selection of significant vehicles from the RM Sotheby’s auction, which takes place later that day at the Peninsula London.

Zone 3: Educational Display

Focusing on sustainable technologies and the future of motoring, with interactive exhibits and career guidance in the automotive sector.

Zone 4: Heritage Display

A timeline from horse-drawn carriages to electric vehicles, featuring milestones like 125 years of Renault and 50 years of the Volkswagen Golf.

Zone 5: Supercars and Hypercars

A rare opportunity to see some of the world’s most spectacular cars, with a focus on cutting-edge sustainability innovations.

Local businesses will also be taking part, such as Iconic Images Gallery, who will be showcasing motoring-themed artwork.
