Join us at Fortnum & Mason to meet Kit Clancy - a representative from Camel Valley - to taste five of their award-winning wines and hear more about the exquisite craft that took them from a small family business to world-class winemakers.
Situated by the picturesque Camel River in Cornwall, Camel Valley have been producing award-winning wines since 1989. With grapes perfectly suited to the sun-drenched soil and climate in their beautiful corner of Cornwall, their combination of traditional practices is mingled with a modern approach to wine making – further complimented by a passion for creating wines for pure pleasure.
Camel Valley has achieved immense success since Bob and Annie Lindo planted their first 8,000 vines in 1989. Sam Lindo, their son and second-generation winemaker who now runs the vineyard, was awarded ‘UK Winemaker of the Year’ in 2007 as well as the ‘Wine of the Year Trophy’. In 2018 Camel Valley had the honour of being granted a Royal Warrant, and was previously awarded the coveted ‘Vintners Trophy’ for the best UK English sparkling wine.
Tastings are limited to 12 people per session so book now to secure your space.
