100% of profits from sales of the pizza will go to Plastic Oceans UK, aiding their mission to prevent plastic pollution from reaching the ocean within a generation.

The conservation of the world’s oceans is key for ‘O ver to continue it’s unique heritage of cooking with Pure Sea Water, an approach that unlocks a number of advantages whilst significantly improving the taste and texture. ‘O ver’s Pure Sea Water is extracted from a natural oasis identified by the Italian Environment Ministry as a future conservation area and contains 40% less sodium and more minerals making it lighter and easy to digest. The result is an authentic Neapolitan pizza, which is very soft, elastic, tender and fragrant.

With up to 12 million tonnes of plastic ending up in our oceans every year, damaging the delicate ecosystems that thrive there, ‘O ver St James’s is encouraging their diners to enjoy delicious Neapolitan street food whilst contributing to the campaign to raise awareness of plastic pollution.

Plastic Oceans UK has led the fight against plastic pollution for over a decade. Their multi-award- winning feature-length documentary A Plastic Ocean is available on Netflix. Now they’re solving the plastic crisis through their science, sustainability and education programmes.
