Inspiration from St James’s Market
From the latest style trends to delicious dining inspiration.

Those who wander may find themselves in a sleek, secretive square, hidden in plain sight between tourist-packed thoroughfares. This is St James’s Market; originally built to cater to the fashionable 18th century elite who moved to be close to the palace, the market now caters to discerning shoppers and foodies looking for a dining experience that goes above and beyond.

Nordic restaurant Aquavit has recently been awarded its first Michelin star just one year in, and new African inspired restaurant Ikoyi has been receiving rave reviews. We are also pleased to announce a new addition; Ottolenghi head chef Ramael Scully has chosen St James’s Market as the destination for his first solo venture ‘Scully’.

So, whether you are in the market for tea and Danish pastries, or after an evening of fine world cuisine, St James’s Market is fast becoming a destination for contemporary dining.

Many of the restaurants also offer an extended service, with Aquavit, Anzu, and Veneta hosting not-to-be-missed Masterclasses. Here, you can learn about everything from whisky to wine while nibbling on canapés from these celebrated kitchens, the perfect after-work dining destination.

New masterclasses are regularly announced on our Facebook page, follow us to stay in the know.

St James's Market also boasts a selection of one of a kind boutiques and emporiums. The AW17/18 collections have landed in retailers including Jigsaw Emporium, Paul & Shark and ASSOS. The newly opened Smeg flagship store boasts the largest single pane glass windows in London and currently stocks a small selection of one off painted Dolce and Gabbana fridges.

Coming soon, we’ll also be welcoming Aspinal of London with its wonderfully decadent collection of handcrafted leather goods and personalised embossing service – perfect for one of a kind gifts.
